Shiga University – Data Science Department
In April 2017, Shiga University in partnership with TDB opened the first faculty of data science in Japan, to provide a curriculum for data science talent training that is currently deficient.

Yokohama City University – Data Science Department
In April 2018, Yokohama City University in partnership with TDB opened the first Department of Data Science in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The Department is working on nurturing data science human resources to create new value from big data, especially with a view of an IoT society.
